The showroom

Photographs and measurements will take you most of the way. Sitting on a sofa and running a hand over a finish takes you the rest of it — particularly for the pieces you will keep for a decade.

Worth bringing with you

  • The dimensions of the room the piece is going into.
  • The width of your narrowest doorway and the tightest turn on your stairs.
  • A photograph of anything the new piece has to sit next to.
  • The height of your existing mattress, if you are looking at beds or bedside tables.

What you can check in person

The material swatches shown on each product page are the actual timber, fabric and finish used on the piece, and the same swatches are available to handle in the showroom. Colour on a screen is never exact, and a finish that reads warm in a photograph can read cool in daylight.
