Made to order
Every piece is built after you order it, to the size you need.
Custom sizing
Width, depth and height set to your room, not to a standard.
Written specification
Materials, size and lead time confirmed before you commit.
Delivery planned
Access, stairs and doorways checked before dispatch.
Where to start
Shop by room
Living Room
The measurements that decide whether a piece fits, published before the price.
9 designs
Bedroom
Internal sizes as well as external ones, because a wardrobe is used from the inside.
9 designs
Dining
Seating capacity given as the number that actually fits, not the number of chairs in the photograph.
7 designs
Office
The measurements that decide comfort are underneath the desk, and they are published.
7 designs
Kids
Specifications published in full, because children’s furniture takes harder use than adult furniture.
7 designs
Hallway
Sized for the narrowest room in the house, with the depth published before the price.
In development
Outdoor
Materials and upkeep stated plainly, because outdoor furniture here has to survive three seasons.

How it works
Ordering something built to fit
1
Choose a design
Pick a piece from the catalogue, or describe what you need if nothing quite fits.
2
Send your measurements
The wall, the doorway, the stair turn. We work back from the space you have.
3
Get a written quotation
Size, materials, finish, lead time and price — in writing, before you commit.
4
We build and deliver
Made in the workshop, then delivered with the access route already checked.

Collection
The bedroom range
Beds built to the mattress you already own, with headboard height set to the wall behind it. Measure the mattress, not the label.
Before you order
Measure first. It is the whole game.
Large furniture fails to reach a room far more often than it fails to fit it. Five minutes with a tape measure prevents almost every delivery problem we see.
The wall
The run the piece sits against, plus a little either side.
The narrowest door
Street door, room door, and anything between.
The stair turn
The tightest point, measured diagonally.
The lift
Internal depth and door width, if there is one.
Seat depth
How far forward a sofa will come into the room.
Your mattress
Measured across it — not the size on the label.

Where a photograph is a reference rather than your piece, the page says so.

Questions
Before you ask
- Can the dimensions be changed?
- Yes. Everything in the catalogue is made to order, so the width, depth and height are set to your room rather than to a standard size. Send the measurements of the space and we work back from those.
- How long does a made-to-order piece take?
- Lead time depends on the piece and on what it is made from, so it is stated in days on your quotation before you commit. It is not a figure we will guess at on a listing.
- Why do the listings say “price on request”?
- Because the price depends on the size, the timber and the finish you choose. Rather than publish a figure that changes the moment you ask for anything specific, we quote the piece you actually want.
- Are the photographs of the exact piece I will receive?
- No, and every listing says so. The photographs show the design. Your piece is built for your room, and the specification is written into your quotation before anything is cut.
- Can I see the materials before ordering?
- Yes. Timber, finish and fabric samples are the part of this that a screen cannot do honestly, so ask for them before you decide.
- What should I send for a custom piece?
- The width of the wall or space, the narrowest doorway or stair turn on the route in, and a photograph of anything it has to sit beside. That is usually enough for a first quotation.
Not sure which piece fits?
Send the measurements of your space and what you have in mind. You get a specification and a price back, in writing, before anything is built.
