About SaazWood
Saaz means to make or to fashion. The name is the whole idea: a workshop that publishes what it makes in full, rather than a catalogue that shows a photograph and asks you to trust it.
What appears on every product page
Furniture is expensive, bought rarely, and almost every listing in this market gives you a photograph, a name and a price. That is not enough to spend Rs 150,000 with confidence. So every piece here carries the same set of facts:
- Width, depth and height in centimetres and inches.
- The materials named — the timber, the board, the fabric, the finish.
- Weight capacity, where a piece is meant to be sat or slept on.
- Lead time in days for anything made to order.
- Whether assembly is included, and what the warranty covers.
- A photographed swatch of the actual finish, not a colour name.
Where a fact is not yet verified for a piece, it is left off the page rather than guessed at. A missing row is honest; an invented one is not.
Why the site is built this way
Most furniture sites in Pakistan are heavy, and most of their traffic is on a phone on a mobile connection. These pages ship almost no JavaScript, images are generated in modern formats at the size your screen actually needs, and every page is pre-built rather than assembled in your browser. The result is a catalogue that loads quickly on a weak signal, which is the condition that matters.
