What to check before ordering
A console table is chosen on depth. Anything over about 35 cm starts to crowd a standard hallway, and the difference between 30 cm and 40 cm is the difference between brushing past and turning sideways.
Height is usually set to sit comfortably under a mirror or a row of hooks; the figure is published so you can plan the wall above it before ordering.
