Seat-height range is published for every chair. Check it against your desk height: your forearms should rest roughly level with the desk top with your feet flat on the floor or on a footrest.
Upholstery material is named, which matters more in a hot climate than it does in a temperate one — a mesh back and a bonded-leather back behave very differently in June.
